Mijn Klacht:
Good Morning-
I am Mrs. Van Nispen
The Situation:
We purchased our Samsung QE65Q65RALXXN from BCC and by October 10 2020 the repair person needed to come out and change the LCD panel for flickering (under warranty).
It is now August 2022 and now the issue is that the TV is flickering on and off randomly. It actually started while we were watching a Netflix Series yesterday.
The expectation for an item of this cost is about 5 years of use, and after a few months they replaced a part while it was under warranty, but the replacement part they substituted only held a 3-month warranty: How does that make sense?
We are told there will be repair costs with CE Repair if they come and diagnose it- they estimate it is the LCD panel – but we will likely be paying 309 Euro for a TV we spent over 1000 Euro for brand new about 2 years ago?
Do you mean to say that the replacement LCD screen your agent repaired (after 6 months of ownership) had a warranty that ran out before our original factory warranty?
This is preposterous.
Obviously, this TV had issues before it came into our home.
This is highly abnormal and honestly, our home is full of Samsung appliances. Typically we are satisfied with the brand.
But this is ridiculous and I would like to see a better solution offered.
Please confer with Samsung- do something. It is unrealistic for us to invest further in a product that proved substandard in the initial stages of ownership. It is irresponsible of Samsung to leave this matter unresolved when is a known issue.
Thank you for your understanding. I await your solution.

Gewenste Oplossing:
This TV will be a money and time drain for the company and ourselves. Sometimes production does not go as expected and that is the nature of business but it should not be the burden of the customer.
The product began substandardly, and we are still talking about it. It's causing unnecessary stress.
We would like a replacement TV.
