Mijn Klacht:
I received an email from Regiobedrijvengids nl in November with the invitation to list my business for free on their indexing site (there are many similar sites in the NL). Now we have received an invoice for a year\’s subscription totalling €361,79 incl BTW.
During the signup process there was no indication made that it was none other than a basic free listing.
Referring to the terms and conditions on the site, it states in article 3.1 that the contract can only come about once Regiobedrijvengids has confirmed the subscription via email. I never received any email regarding subscription, free or otherwise, only receiving an email confirming our login details. I have taken screenshots from this site showing that our basic free listing was never confirmed (it shows that the original free subscription is still \’in progess\’).
On checking the people behind this newly-set up operation, I have come across the name \’Eric Meijer\’, who I had dealings with several years ago when he called me on behalf of \’Onlinebedrijvengids\’ (www.online-bedrijvengids.nl). After telling him I was not interested, I received a similar invoice for services. When I queried it, he said that I had agreed in the original phone call by saying \’yes\’ to the acceptance of the subscription. He said that he had proof of this.
I did not pay that invoice and I do not intend to pay this one either!
Gewenste Oplossing:
When Eric Meijer stops harassing me with his invoices for services unsolicited and unrequired.
