Een klant heeft een klacht ingediend over de levering en installatie van een Miele wasmachine door MediaMarkt. De bezorgers waren onbeleefd, leken niet in staat om de zware wasmachine correct te tillen en veroorzaakten schade aan de muren en vloer tijdens de levering. Ondanks dat er extra betaald was voor de installatie, waren de bezorgers gehaast en voltooiden ze het werk niet naar behoren.

Mijn Klacht:

Last week we ordered a Miele washing machine from MediaMarkt.nl, we ordered it to be delivered and installed and tested – paid extra for this service.
The washing machine was delivered the next day, but the delivery people were rude, not strong enough to lift the washing machine which weights ~100 kg.
The two guys appeared to be in a hurry – they said that they are parked outside and need to go, despite the fact that installation process should take an hour or so, including the testing.
They knocked the washing machine to the walls, sratched the floor and puched it against the door causing damage. To clarify it – the washing machine fits throught the door and the house and they caused the damange because the way they were trying to lift/push the washing machine.
In one of the rooms there was a table – which my husband said he will move in 2 minutes – but they did not listen and wait, they just left.. all this considering they should have booked an hour for the delivery/installation and testing.
So, the end result of the delivery: a washing machine in the middle of the living room, and 500 euro damage done to walls and door.
I called MediaMarkt to make a complaint and request someone to actually come and do the installation, I haven’t been contacted since.
No refund, no apology.

After a week of waiting, today my husband moved the washing machine (note that he is one guy – as opposed to the two who did the delivery with a trolley), managed to fit it through the kichen door and installed it.
The cherry on top is that it’s against MediaMarkt’s policy to write a review on the Delivery on their webpage – you can only write a review of the product.. This makes it impossible to warn others, not to ever order from MediaMarkt.

Gewenste Oplossing:

I want a refund of the servive I paid for (delivery/installation/testing) and a refund for the damage caused as well as an aplogy.
