Mijn Klacht:
On the 19th of August I booked a flight online and decided to pay via bank transfer.
I received the booking code by email and I paid the requested amount EUR 720, 96 using the correct reference as provided within 48 hours. As I did not get the ticket and no further communication from KLM in the following days, I contacted KLM via phone but I could not get access to them.
I then contacted KLM via social media (whatsapp and messenger). There, to my surprise I got the news that my booking code was cancelled. Although I paid within 48 hours as requested in the ation mail with the code. KLM ed that they received the payment but that I paid for a booking code that was no longer valid as they had created a new code (without informing me)!
When I asked why, I did not get an answer. They told me that a new booking code was assigned for the flight without further explanation.
And they ask me to repay the flight although the received my payment.
And they urge to pay quickly otherwise they will not keep the same price!!! And this while I have paid already, and this payment was ed.
They say that they will refund this first booking but that they cannot give a timeline for the refund???
KLM is just robbing me of EUR 720 without any compensation or explanation why the booking changed.
I am not able to put a formal complaint in the system and the booking code is not recognised.
Gewenste Oplossing:
KLM moet gewoon mijn ticket uitgeven die ik reeds betaald heb en mij de mogelijkheid geven om te vertrekken. Bovendien verwacht ik dat ze ten minste hun fout erkennen en hun gebrek aan of communicatie.
