Een klant heeft een negatieve ervaring gehad bij het openen van een rekening bij ING in Voorburg. Ondanks het maken van een afspraak, moest de klant in een drukke openbare ruimte staan om zijn financiële zaken te bespreken, wat leidde tot onvrede over de ontvangst en privacy. De klant vond het ongepast dat er geen aparte ruimte beschikbaar was voor het gesprek.

Mijn Klacht:

been yesterday to ING Voorburg to open an Account.. branch was not too busy but told that without an appointment its not possible. therefore I made an appointment today. today, branch was significantly more busy, so i was asked to stand at the counter to open the account..
1. is this how ING wants to welcome new customers?
2. i do not want to talk about my financial matters in front of everyone..

so i told the ING staff, if there isn’t a meeting room available, ING staff member told rather flippantly that there was no room and challenged me why i would have a problem sitting in the public area
i replied, if this is the ING way, you could have done this yesterday already.. but he said i needed the appointment.i replied that if i have an appointment. id expect a separate room..
and adding the ING employee added that if this is how i think about this , then he’d rather not do it. i responded that if this is the attitude of this branch, maybe ING has enough clients,. therefore id rather go to another bank instead were customers are valued.
the whole experience is ranging at the bottom of customer experiences in the Netherlands, and the worst regarding banks.

6 jaren geleden - Goodmorning peterz9, Sorry to hear that you have not had a warm welcome at one of our offices :-( We advise our new customers to make an appointment so we are prepared for your arrival and ensure that we have enough time to help you open an account. However, this will not be in a seperate room. Only appointments about mortgage or personal banking are discussed in a seperate room. I will submit your complaint about this matter, that you wish to also be able to discuss other subjects in a private room so we can take this in account for improving our service in the future. I hope everything worked out with opening the account and I think you for bringing this up. With regards, Sabrina ING | Webcare
