Mijn Klacht:
I ordered a kitchen worktop from IKEA, which arrived 2 weeks later than originally promised, but at least it arrived. I also ordered a Havsen sink, which arrived on time, but I could only install it once I had the worktop. It turns out the sink isn’t level on the worktop as 1 corner lifts up about 0,5cm. I notified IKEA customer service about this more and they asked me to send photographic evidence at a certain email address. I did as instructed, more than 1 week has passed and there’s been no reaction whatsoever.
Besides, my name was misspelled on the invoice for the worktop. I’ve asked IKEA customer services numerous times to resolve it and they first said it was not possible to change a name after the order had been placed. After insisting that we aren’t talking about changing a name, just spelling it properly, they agreed to change it in the system and promised an updated invoice would be sent to me. Alas, it’s been almost 1 month and I’m still waiting.
I’m thoroughly disappointed with IKEA’s customer service. This isn’t in line with their promise to put the customer first.
