Mijn Klacht:
On the 9th November 2017 I have bought a complete IKEA kitchen. However noticed that in the first months the wooden countertop is already becoming damaged – cracks in the joints. We have been very careful with it, applying the treatment from IKEA. So we don’t understand why it is already looking in poor condition in some areas.
Should be covered by warranty, however after a lot of contacts, emails and waiting time the maximum Ikea is offering is a new countertop ignoring assembly and transport costs already paid and that need to be considered again to pick up and install the new counter top.
Gewenste Oplossing:
Indeed if countertop is not replaced or fixed according the warranty in order to look and perform as it should or if proper compensation is not provided if I need to have the work to fix it by myself I will follow legal ways to present my complaint that is not being taken is a serious way by Ikea.
