I have bought a Christmas Tree ABIES NORDMANNIANA in IKEA Utrecht 1,5 weeks ago (4th December). It’s a wonderful tree and everything was okay until last Friday (11th December). That day the tree’s become smelling, and not like a tree but like old human urine (sorry for my French). I’d checked the water, the smell didn’t come from there. The majority of smell came from the top of the tree.
We really were trying to get used to it, using candles, etc. but the smell was so disgusting. It spoiled the whole Christmas mood and was getting worse. Today we have put the tree in our garden because it got impossible to stay in the same room with it (and maybe not safe). Now I’m going to spend the holidays without Christmas tree.
I contacted IKEA in Facebook but they never answered me. It’s also impossible to give a feedback on the website. This is a very disappointing experience with IKEA.

I will never buy a Christmas tree in IKEA again. I am very upset with this expirience.
