Een klant heeft een pakket ter waarde van €60 vanuit Spanje verzonden met duidelijke instructies voor levering op een afhaalpunt. GLS negeerde deze instructies en probeerde het pakket op het privéadres van de klant te bezorgen, wat leidde tot meerdere mislukte afleverpogingen en frustratie.

Mijn Klacht:

I have sent a package from Spain for a total value of €60 (including shipping cost).
I gave clear instructions when I filled the shipping documents of where the shipment had to be delivered and GLS ignored my instructions.
The goods had to be delivered to a pick up point and GLS ignored it and tried to deliver the goods to my private address, as I was not there, they left a note to make an appointment with them (at that moment I did not complain to the agency in Spain as I thought that making the appointment would be all solved).
I made the appointment via their website for few days later and what was the surprise that GLS ignored my instructions again and they drop by to my private address again the day after the first try and left me another note.
At that time, because I had an appointment arranged with them, I ignored the second note and I wait until the day that he appointment was made. On that day no one showed up!.
Then I have contacted the agency in Spain and I complaint about the serviceno service that GLS provides.
After this complain the agency in Spain contacted with me and informed that GLS would not do another delivery as they went 2 times to deliver the package (to the wrong address) and nobody was there.
After a lot of e-mails, phone calls and a big disappointment the agency in Spain informs that GLS informed that my package was ready to pick up at the initial address (the one requested by me) I went 5 times to the picking point after the Spanish agency for 5 times and the package was not there.
In between, again there were a lot of discussions via e-mail and international phone calls made by me and the agency in Spain was ing that GLS was saying that they delivered the packaged (not true).
Days later and after complaining a lot, the agency in Spain informs me that GLS contacted them and informed that my package is in their warehouse because arrived to Holland damaged.
At that moment I became very angry because GLS was lying all the time about the delivery.
Anyway, I requested that even the goods being damaged I wanted to receive them.
This problem started on 30th of August, we are on the 20th of September and I still do not have my package and GLS keep lying to the agency in Spain.
The agency in Spain told me 5 or 6 times more that GLS informed that my package was delivered. Everyday GLS says to the agency in Spain that finally I can pick up the package. and the goods are not at the picking point (I am going every day to the picking point since 12th September) and the shipment is not there.
This situation is very frustrating and besides the package which I think I have already lost, I have all the expenses in international phone calls, time lost going to the picking point more than 15 times!, time lost on writing e-mails, and the stress that this situation is causing to me.
I am not sure if this e-mail can be useful for anything but what is for sure is that I will never recommend this carrier (GLS) to anyone.
I never saw a company with such a bad service (no service), not professional people and so irresponsible with the business they manage.
To me it has been a list of time and money but if I can help others to do not use GLS as a company it will be more than enough!

Gewenste Oplossing:

I will be fine when GLS delivers my pakket, compensated me for all the money and time lost and give me a formal apology for all the lies.
