Een klant van EnergieDirect heeft klachten over intimidatie en onterechte betalingsverzoeken voor niet geleverde energie. Ondanks herhaalde pogingen om het probleem op te lossen en beloften van klantenservice om de rekening te herzien, ontvangt de klant bedreigende brieven, waaronder een waarschuwing voor afsluiting van energie. De klant beschrijft de interne communicatie bij het bedrijf als chaotisch en eist een correcte factuur.

Mijn Klacht:

To whom it may concern: Energiedirect.nl wants to illegally charge for energy they did not supply. Despite trying to solve the situation and several customer service agents telling me that they will recalculate and sent me the correct bill, I am getting illegal and intimidating letters! Internally that business seems to be a big mess, as different customer service agents communicate different messages. Now I receive a letter telling me that they want to cut my energy!!!!!

This is nothing short of despicable and criminal, they have no right to the payment of what they are charging as they did not supply it and I demand to receive a correct bill as requested many times!

Gewenste Oplossing:

To stop the bullying, intimidating behaviour of that business and to receive a fair bill! I will not pay for something they did not deliver!!!

Dear Mr. Stifft,

Thank you for your message. I see that you have already had al lot of contact with us trough diffrent chanels.

I understand it's a difficult situation and that it is a lot of money.

However we explained the situation a few times:

You didn't pay enough with your previous supplier. They never received your meter readings and they made a too low calculation.

I understand that you tried to supply the meter readings online in january
2018, but you did not succeed because of a warning about the usage. You
can click through in this case, but I can imagine this is difficult to understand
when you're not familiar with the form.
We can't change anything about this right now. At the time we did not receive
the meter readings via e-mail or telephone, so we can only come to an
agreement right now.

Did you check your old invoices? You can probably see that you paid a very
small amount in the past and didn't 'use' a lot because of meter readings
which were calculated too low. Maybe you even got some money back. I
think you can understand that right now you will have to pay for the energy
you did use in the past, but did not pay for. I want to prevent it from getting
worse (third party), so I have to be clear about this.

I can understand it's a lot to pay at once, so we do want to offer you a
payment plan. We want to help you pay the outstanding costs in terms.
If you want a payment plan for the outstanding amount please contact us
