Een klant heeft op 15 januari een e-mail gestuurd naar de klantenservice van Eneco, maar heeft geen reactie ontvangen, ondanks de beloofde reactietijd van twee dagen. De klant beschrijft dat hij zich bedrogen voelt door verkopers die aan de deur kwamen en hem verleidden met een beter aanbod, maar hem misleidend om zijn meterstanden vroegen zonder duidelijke uitleg over de contractvoorwaarden.

Mijn Klacht:

I sent this email to the Eneco Customer Service on 15th Jan, but haven’t got a response back even when they say their response time is 2 days. I am hoping for a solution from this platform.

Dear Customer Service,

I would like to bring to your notice that I have been cheated by the sales guys that came to my door selling Eneco services.

Two guys came to my door in Dec and told me that they have a better offer for me. I asked them what is the offer and they asked me for my current consumption readings. I did not know the readings so they asked me to fill up a form on their ipad. They told me this for just for getting my information about the meter readings and then they will send me a proper contract with the offer which I can accept. Only after my acceptance the Eneco services will be started.

The sales guys told me that I will get a contract by mail. I specifically asked them will it be on email or mail. They told me it will be on post/mail. I did not get any mail (not email) from Eneco with the contract. I got a phone call from Eneco a few days ago and I told them that I have not received any contract from Eneco.

Yesterday, I got an email from my current supplier Essent that they are terminating my contract. After this, I called the Eneco customer service and they told me that I have the contract for 3 years and if I cancel, I have to pay a penalty. This is ridiculous because I am not even staying in Netherlands for 3 years. But thats not the point. I NEVER ACCEPTED ANY CONTRACT FROM ENECO SO I AM NOT LIABLE TO PAY ANY PENALTY.

I would like to file a complaint with your company that I have been cheated and told lies. I was made to sign on the ipad telling that this was not the final contract. I am in a lot of mental tension because of all this.

Please take up this matter with the concerned authorities and provide me a resolution ASAP.

Gewenste Oplossing:

Please cancel anything that you have in your system without a penalty because I never got a contract and never accepted any contract. Today, I also got a bill of 137.

Now, for any normal person, why would someone go from paying 110 Euro per month to 137 Eur per month? Does not makes sense, right?

Please help me get a resolution.

Dear Saida,
Thank you for responding back. I truly appreciate it.

But I have not been contacted by anyone at Eneco. Can you please send me a formal email mentioning that my contract has been cancelled and without any fine. I need to show this to my current supplier Essent to continue their services. I think only then we can consider this case closed.

8 jaren geleden - Dear Mukesh, I'm sorry to hear that you haven't hear anything from my colleague. I've checked the system and I saw that she is not available for the last 3 days. I've connected another colleague and I immediatly got response back. It can take 6-8 weeks before everything has turned back. But eventually it will be arranged between your supplier and us. I hope you sufficient information
