I will describe my unpleasant situation that happened to me on the part of DPD. On August 21, 2023, I sent the parcel to Poland and, of course, took it to the point in Den Haag on Leyweg. Since my parcel did not change its status, I went to this store on August 24, 2023 and asked the lady why my parcel was still in their store… In response, I heard that the parcel had been taken away on August 21, 2023. I asked for the phone number of the driver, who of course did not I received. I returned home and wrote an email to DPD that nothing had happened with the parcel for three days and that’s how it started… Writing, calling and waiting hmmm!!! It seems to me that after my visit to this store on August 25, 2023, the package changed its status and that was the end!!!! After about a week, in response to an e-mail, I received a message that I saw that the status of the package had changed… I got very angry… If the package had contained, I don’t know, maybe some clothes or some trinkets, I would probably have turned a blind eye. Well, the package included a new phone and the package was insured!!! At some point I received an email that unfortunately the parcel was lost… And things started to go wrong… I was told to provide my details, account number, value of the parcel and of course the invoice for the phone… And here’s the problem because I don’t have either the invoice or the receipt which it disappeared somewhere and I don’t know where… In February we bought two phones as a gift and paid in cash. But I received a message in the e-mail that you must have an invoice or a receipt, ehh. But if I had it, I would 100% send it, but unfortunately I don’t have it. And since there was no evidence, the case was just dismissed. I won’t leave it like that, but it is a good lesson for me and a warning for others
