Mijn Klacht:
In november 2023 I rented a car at Firefly Alicante through Rentalcars.com. I also bought a full protection insurance at Rentalcars.com for that rental period.
After the rental period I returned the car in Alicante, but no one was in the rental office to accept the car.
After a couple of weekt I received the bill from Firefly: they had added 270 euros for a full protection insurance!!!
looking atr the form they made me sign when picking up the car, I saw that they added a full protection insurance. WITHOUT TELLING ME!
Of course I didn’t want the full protection insurance, because I already had an insurance.
I think that is fraud: letting people pay for stuff they don’t need and don’t want.
I am not willing to pay for that insurance I didn’t want and didn’t ask for.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I am willing to pay for the costs for refuelling the car - I knew that I had to pay for that.
But I will not pay for the full protection insurance because I didn't want that and I didn't know on forehand they would charge me that.
