Mijn Klacht:
We have made a booking almost a month ago, received a confirmation and thought that we are all settled. However, today we received an e-mail stating that the property cannot in fact accommodate us, due to International Worker’s Day. Regardless of the fact, that International Worker’s Day is on May 1st (and we booked for May 22nd), this is highly inconvenient for us, since we now will have to make a new booking and will have to pay at least twice as much for a comparable accommodation.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I am satisfied if we can spend the two nights for which we booked in a similar accommodation (location, conditions and price), or if the cancellation is "undone". In case of a similar accommodation I would like to have a possibility to leave a negative review for the initial property (if it is their mistake and not the fault of booking.com ), since the feeling of injustice is strong, and they have a ridiculously misleading high score for a place, making a situation like this possible.
