Mijn Klacht:
Someone close to me got completely defrauded by the UWV when applying for WIA illness benefits. I wrote a “manual” to help others apply for WIA on our blog called uwvklachten on wordpress.
UWV lied and deceived about what was said when meeting them (gespreek met UWV / hoorzitting).
They made important documents “disappear”. I.e. reports from independent Doctors disappeared from the dossier and were ignored in their decision.
the patient also found out that the neurologist that they hired to exam him, has a VERY close relation with the UWV – one of their administrative workers told him (by a slip of the tongue) that UWV ALWAYS hire the same neurologist, for every type of examination.
In total there were about 40 accounts of fraud by the people at UWV. These were not simple mistakes or a one –time-thing; it was systematic, repeated and on purpose.
We are actually reporting the fraud to the police and to the Medisch Tuchtcollege and we are looking for other victims of fraud by UWV to collaborate and to file our reports at the same time to gain more power than one single patient can do on his own.
