Dear Supersavers.
I purchased a ticket on the 27th Feb for Bangkok between the 7th April – 17th April on the website for 700EUR. When I checked the confirmation, I realized that I made a mistake with the date and I should have booked it on the 8th of April. At the time I realized it was 5 min after I purchased the ticket. Then I wanted to call the customer Service of Super savers who was actually closed at the weekend. I spoke with one of KLM agents Cisco on Saturday and he told me that there is a 24h cancellation policy that applies on this ticket and he put a note on the reservation that I called within 24h. Today I called again Supersavers and they told me that they need KLM authorization to change the date (I don’t even want to cancel it, I just want to change the date). Later on you send me an email and told me that your request was rejected by KLM because the 24h cancellation policy has expired. Now I am in a situation where I lost 700 EUR and I was going to Thailand for personal reason because my mum lives there and she is not well. I can’t never buy myself a ticket again this year because I was saving for this. Can you please tell me how things can be so inflexible? Can you tell me why exactly you refused to change the date when I tried to contact you within 24h and your customer service was closed? I spoke to KLM and they confirmed to me that there is a 24 h policy that applies to this ticket. SO WHY YOU CANNOT RESPECT THIS? If you have asked KLM and they do have such a 24h policy why you cannot apply it? It is human mistake and everybody makes mistakes but you making me pay a very high price for this. I will make sure that this is well known on all the social links and I will again contact KLM and try to speak with them.
I will never do the mistake to order anything via such an inflexible company. Believe me I will not leave things this way and I will keep escalating the matter via all the channels.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I would like them to change my flight date from the 7th to the 8th of Aril
