Mijn Klacht:
I reserved two storage units at Utrecht Leidsche Rijn on 12 October, one being 4.5m and the other 15m.
The reason why I reserved them was because I only need them from 7 November and the website clearly states the following that I will be reserving them for 30 days.
I was aware that the offices would contact me to discuss the units and when I received a call I was quite happy to finalize this. I was questioned as to the reasoning behind renting the units, I explained that it is because we are renovating our house and will be storing our household goods. The lady mentioned that it is odd that I am renting two spaces with fastly different storage spaces.
After this was cleared out of the way (so I thought), she requested to know when I would come in to sign the documents. I wanted to understand the system, as the terms on the website clearly state that the unit will be kept out for 30 days. I have no trouble signing and concluding the contract, I merely want to know why I need to sign the contract NOW, our idea was to come and sign the contract on 6 November, the day before we get the units to move our things. This could however not be mentioned because another lady took over the call and said my story is vague and that she will decline me as a customer. Long story short, I did not get an explanation, nor was I given the opportunity to finish my sentences. On top of that I was accused of not being truthful and merely stating that I do not understand and that you will hung up the phone is not on for me. When requesting to know who I am speaking with TWICE she hung up the phone. j
Gewenste Oplossing:
- Still an answer on the question about the storage space that you advertise is being reserved (which is apparently not the case) and why the contract needs to be signed now and not later, still within the 30 day period?
- Why we were refused as customers;
- I would also like to know how this will be addressed internally.
