Een passagier had op 6 december 2020 een vlucht van België naar Jordanië, maar werd bij de incheckbalie geweigerd omdat er onduidelijkheid was over de betaling van zijn koffer. Na lange wachttijd bleek dat de betaling wel was gedaan, maar de koffer arriveerde uiteindelijk niet in Amman en bleef achter in België. De passagier kreeg te horen dat de koffer met de volgende vlucht naar Amman zou komen.

Mijn Klacht:

On December 6, 2020 I had a flight from Belgium, Zaventum to Amman, Jordan. On arrival at the departure hall I was refused because according to the employees my suitcase had not been paid for and it had to be determined whether I paid for the suitcase or not. One and a half to 2 hours later I get the message that I have paid for my suitcase anyway. This to great frustration because in the meantime I was not told how or why. In the end we left. When I arrived in Amman, I was informed that my suitcase was still in Belgium. Then I left my details with the customs in Jordan. Afterwards I was informed that the suitcase had been found in Belgium. Then I agreed with the customs of Belgium that the suitcase will come with the next flight to Amman. Last Sunday the suitcase had to be officially in Amman. That is on the date December 13th. On December 13, we contacted the Amman customs, and we were told that the suitcase had not arrived after all. Suddenly I receive an email today (14-12-2020) that the suitcase will leave on 20-12-2020. At that point I am not normally in Amman anymore. Now I am obliged to rebook my ticket so that I can stay longer in Amman to wait for my suitcase. My request is also for this reason: I want a compensation for the damage I experience as a result of no fault of my own. I have to rebook my ticket, rent the room that I rent extra long. And I would also like to have my food and drinks and clothing reimbursed. I find this all very unpleasant and I am not happy with the service so far. I would like an answer and solution on this matter as soon as possible. I hope to hear from you soon. With kind regards,
