Goddamn! Why do you like to make life so difficult for me!! I bought a surface 3 last March, to test in the field. I sail ships and need to look outside and watch navigation and NOT be bend over in my tablet. Every new ship I come on (many per week) I need to just turn on the tablet and by means of a script my programs start and navigation software runs.
Now because I can’t get past the login screen without paying attention, I have to watch the screen instead of watching for danger of collision outside. This renders the tablet useless.
Trying to bypass this obstacle I have made myself a user instead of an administrator. My scripts run nomore. Why do I have to be a IT-professional to use this piece of hardware??
For a user to spend €800,- on a system witch doesn’t cope well with LTE changing to HSPA+ (I loose internet and the system freezes), who spends sooooooooo much time getting it al running before I come onboard (mostly to find out how scripts work, and how not having to sign in and not using passwords work, I deem this €800,- a waste of money and a collosal WASTE of my scarse time!
I have always used microsoft the last 25 years, but now, not being able to make myself an administrator, not understanding UAC completely, losing 4g internet underway, which makes me have to restart, which costs time I don’t have I am regrettably really starting to hate this product, and the way microsoft works, thinking only about security security security and not the actual user.
Not getting any answers from you on forums or on the phone. I have to say I am done with wasting my time on microsoft. WHY DO YOU MAKE IT SO HARD!
Especially for wasting my time in my short life and forcing updates on me which have rendered my time from the last year (learning how to make and use scripts) worthless I will never forgive you!
Obviously the test is a BIG FAIL. My company will not buy or use your hardware and will be seeking out new software. Money might not matter to you, but loosing a 25 year long user (with ups and downs of happyness for your products) hopefully will mean something. All of my friends and family and much of my colleges turn to me for help with a product which should be as much as possible intuitive. YOURS ISN’T! I will advise against using it and look to android or iOS.

Gewenste Oplossing:
Als ik weer administrator ben over mijn eigen product en als de computer stopt met me te pesten met mijn wachtwoord en automisch inlogd zonder aanmeldingsscherm, zoadt ik door kan gaan met mijn echte werk!
