Geboden Oplossing:
Dear Dear Sir, Madam,
Thank you for your message to Huawei.
I'm sorry to read that you're having trouble with your phone.
Steps to make a hard reset of your phone make sure that you have lost all data in the device:
1. Remove SIM and SD card
2. The battery of the device must be sufficiently charged
3. The assignment must be done without any cable connection
4. Turn off the unit
5. Press the power button and volume up button until the green Android logo appears and then the boot menu with the following options:
---- 1 Reboot System now
---- 2 Wipe Data / Factory Reset
---- 3 Wipe Cache Partition
6. Go to option ---- 2 in the list of volume buttons and confirm with on button.
This option basically resets the reset to factory defaults and therefore everything will be erased.
7. Go to option ---- 1 in the list of volume buttons and confirm with on button.
The phone will start up again.
If even the factory settings do not help, then it is better to request a repair at one of our service centers.
To get your device for repair, you have a number of options:
For the Netherlands:
1. If you have registered for the VIP service 40 days after purchase of your device (this means that you will be entitled to 2 years of factory warranty,
now 3 years warranty and 3 months warranty), you can sign up for repair at: www.huaweivipservice.nl.
Your device will be retrieved and returned for free at your home and will be repaired within 3 working days.
2. If you are not a VIP, you can register by:
www.drmobile.eu/en Your device will then be retrieved at your home and will be returned within 5 working days.
3. You can also repair your device through the store, they will then send you this, but it may take up to 2 weeks.
For Belgium:
1. If you have registered for the VIP service within 40 days of purchase of your device
(giving Huawei an additional year warranty on top of the 2 year manufacturer's warranty),
then you can register your problem at: https://huawei.drmobile.nl/.
Your device will be retrieved for free at your home and will be returned within 3 working days.
2. If you are not a VIP, you can register your problem at: www.drmobile.eu/en.
Your device will then be retrieved if your home is reimbursed and returned to you within 5 business days.
3. You can also bring your device back to the store, and then send it to you for repair, but it may take up to 2 weeks.
4. You can also sign up at our website consumer.huawei.com/be at the bottom of the page at \"FREE POSTAL SERVICE\".
You will then need to bring your device to a post office and your device will be picked up for free and returned within 3 working days.
5. You can also search for service centers in Belgium on our website.
You can also repair your device there.
You can also find these service centers on the HiCare application on your phone.
When the device has arrived at the service center we will investigate the device and we will repair all the equipment that is on the device.
If there are any problems with the device and it is covered by the warranty, it will be met free of charge.
If the device is out of warranty, you will be informed of any costs.
If you choose to cancel the repair, you will only have to pay the research fee of 59 Euro.
Please make a backup of your files in advance.
Remove your SIM card and possibly your SD card for dispensing your device.
Delete your Google Account via Settings> Google> Remove Google Account (Otherwise, your repair will take longer than usual)
If you have any other questions then I would like to hear from you.
Hope to have you informed enough and thank you again for contacting Huawei.
Sincerely,
Mich
