Mijn Klacht:
I rent out some houses in Amstelveen, but they are enforcing a rule they made up, that only 2 adults with or without children, can rent a house.
This is to stop the influx of Indian IT workers to Amstelveen.
This contravenes Article 1 of the Dutch Constitution, which forbids discrimination of any kind. The rule is clearly discriminatory, since it allows 2 adults with 10 children to live in a house, but not 3 adults. This is age and ‘familial status’ discrimination, since it brands any 3 adults as a disruption to the community, and assumes that any 2 adults with 10 offspring of any age will be good for social cohesion.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I will be satisfied when they remove that discriminatory ruling, which forces inspectors from the Gemeente to come peeping in windows and sneaking around houses at 7AM or 8PM, checking for extra people in the house, like the Jew-hunters of WW2.
I would also like to be compensated for loss of rent from my houses. I am forced to
