Klacht: they constraint me to pay extra 407 eur after the purchase of the ticket, due to an error they made

Na de aankoop van een vliegticket ontdekte de klager dat de naam van zijn vrouw verkeerd was weergegeven in de bevestiging. Ondanks meerdere pogingen om het probleem te melden, ontving hij geen reactie van het bedrijf, waarna hij e-tickets met de verkeerde namen ontving. Uiteindelijk werd hem medegedeeld dat hij 407 euro extra moest betalen om de naam te laten wijzigen.

Mijn Klacht:

Hello.
I made a reservation for a flight together with my wife and son. My wife has a different family name then me, and immediately after purchasing the ticket, i saw in the confirmation e-mail, that my wife’s name was the same as mine and my son’s, which was wrong. Although we travel a lot and i buy flights a lot, and I do know my wife’s name, I thought that maybe I made a mistake.
I immediately sent them an email, as instructed by them in the confirmation email, to bring the issue to their attention, but they did not respond. They sent the e-tickets within 3 hours, with wrong names. I then contacted them 2 more times to different email addresses and in the end they responded that I have to pay extra if I want the name changed, so they charged me extra 407 eur.
I had only the option to buy a new ticket for my wife, or to pay them. So i paid. Then, they sent the reservation saying that they changed the names. But the name of my wife was still mine. Then I told them and they sent it again. Again wrong. After the 3rd attempt, many emails back and forth, the name of my wife was changed on the reservation.

I realized only at check in, that the third time they actually made a new, different reservation for my wife, so me and my son had the initial reservation, with the same name, and my wife a new one, most likely because their system could not handle the different names on one reservation where the mom and the son have a different name.
It is very likely that their system has changed the name from the beginning, that is why even they could not set a different name for my wife on the same reservation.
They still charged me for their mistake and they refused any other mean of reconciliation but to pay them more.

Gewenste Oplossing:

I would like to be reimbursed for the difference of 407 eur they constraint me to pay
