We visited Keukenhof garden with family of four out of which 3 were tourist to Netherlands on 12 May. To our extreme disappointed, there was almost no tulips in the garden!! They were either nipped away or they were nearly dead. I personally visited two times this beautiful garden during my stay in Netherlands and have enjoyed the glory and beauty of this garden during previous visits. However this time I was in extreme shock to find this garden in this state. We paid price of 4 tickets which was not at all worth for. The authorities should have either closed the garden or should have opened the garden for free for nature lovers to enjoy walking in the nature without any tulips. We friendly request the authorities to refund at least the garden ticket price. We travelled from Venlo to this garden spending 5 hours of time in total commute! We are not at all satisfied with the day visit to this garden. It was nearly a waste of time, efforts and money!!! Kindly remember that by doing this (keeping park open and charging when there is almost nothing to see in the park), you only damaging the reputation of this garden for future. The tourists will bring the negative experience to their home country after visiting the garden in this state.
Gewenste Oplossing:
Kindly pay out the ticket price for four adults which we paid. If required we can furnish the tickets for evidences.
Also the fuel price from two way travel from Venlo (Lomm) to Keukenhof which is 200 km one way.
