Na het aanvragen van de American Express Flying Blue Gold Card en het ontvangen ervan, ondervond de klant problemen tijdens een zakenreis naar het VK. De kaart stopte met werken en na contact met de klantenservice bleek deze geannuleerd te zijn vanwege een mislukte 1 cent-overdracht, zonder dat de klant hierover was geïnformeerd.

Mijn Klacht:

I saw the Adverts online about the American Express Card online.. so I applied for an American Express Flying Blue Gold Card way before my Holiday because it could take a while until your Card gets processed.

I received My Card after about 1,5 weeks .. and all looked good

I wend to a Business trip to the UK and suddenly the card stopped working, well basically as soon i landed in the UK

First I thought there was some Fraud Protection so I guessed I need to call the help-desk… but it was weekend .. so no customer service on the weekend..

on Tuesday i called the helpdesk and they said yea no your card has been canceled because the 1Cent transfer failed. so I asked why did no one called me about that issue ? then he said no your bank is the issue .. and it has not to do with if there is money on the account. he said he we can fix this until tomorrow and i will get an email…
so I checked with my bank and they said there was a technical issue the request of AMEX. and there is no blockage

there was no Email or call from amex for at least 24h..
so i called again, the service agent now said its because of law and if this fails they cant confirm me as a person, on the question how long this will take he said he need to check this , after 10 min he said well that can take about 2 Weeks… Seriously inconvenient when you already on a Trip… and no need fall back to other payments methods

Gewenste Oplossing:

when I have a working AMEX Card. or finally someone who is helping me.
compensation for the Seriously inconvenient Situation AMEX put me into
