Mijn Klacht:

The following is the text sent to the support group of 1eurohosting using their own communication system:-

“The above reference domain name was owned by the company Serendipity Holding BV. This company was closed in 2013. The registration of the domain name was forgotten and was automatically paid on the renewal date in 2013.

On the renewal date in 2014 the payment for renewal was requested. This was paid. Also at this time it was requested that the domain name be terminated. We were assured that this would be done.

Again on the renewal anniversary in 2015 we received a request for payment for the renewal of the domain name. Again we asked that the domain name be terminated and again we were assured that this would be done.

Now again in 2016 we are being asked to pay for this domain name. This is not acceptable and is effectively becoming a harassment situation. This situation cannot continue and we further request that this domain name be terminated. There will be no payment made for the continuation of this domain. Any further demands for payment will be considered harassment and a formal complaint will ensue.”

Gewenste Oplossing:

The domain name "serendipity-arts.com" must be terminated and no further requests for payments shall be received. An apology would also be nice.

9 jaren geleden - Further information: This domain was initiated by one of the employees whilst the company "Serendipity Holding BV" was active. The company closed in 2013. The person that started the domain has since died. I have no details as to how to login to this account. This domain has never been used. I have no idea how to use the facilities and have no use for them. Requests for termination have been made during telephone conversations in 2014 and 2015 when renewal was due but although told that termination will be done this has never happened. Recent communication with 1eurohosting has resulted in them telling me to terminate the account myself using the login facilities for this account. They have not provided me with the required login details. Serendipity Holding BV was closed because my health was not good enough to continue running the company. Since then my health has deteriorated further. I have spinal damage that results in lost control and feeling of my legs and feet. This has the effect of considerable difficulty in walking or even standing upright. Commensurate with this is a great deal of pain which is being treated by constant morphine intake. I also only have 70% lung capacity which together with my sleep apneu means that when I go to bed at night I have to wear a mask hooked up to a BIPAP machine to ensure that I do not stop breathing during my sleep. Further, as a result of long-term high dosage of certain pain-killers that were prescribed to me I now have permanent damage to my brain tissue. This has the effect of memory loss and cognitive disfunction. I have problems with remembering information or actions taken even as short as a few minutes previously. I am considered as "unable to ever work again" by the UWV. I am currently under the care of a neurologist, a neurosurgeon, a psychologist, the pain clinic and lung care. Producing this reaction has taken more effort than I would normally be capable of. It has taken me two days to put together this information. I find it exceedingly difficult to function on a daily basis. Trying find a way of contacting 1eurohosting with the way that they have isolated themselves from direct easy outside contact that is the norm for most companies has been difficult for me. To try and follow their required procedures when I am not in possession of the needed information is impossible. They have now put me in a "Catch 22" situation where they say that they have terminated my account due to non-payment. However, they say that I am required to pay as I did not follow their termination procedures correctly. They then say that upon receipt of payment they will reinstate the account, something which I am trying to stop. 1eurohosting have been totally unhelpful in this matter and it would appear that whatever I do I am stuck with this account for another year with the same problems to come. I am in no condition to participate in a long battle with this company. I just want this account removed as it should have been some years ago. This company appears on the surface to offer great deals but when it comes to terminating contracts they are totally unhelpful. Please could somebody help me resolve this situation. If I am told that I can do this myself, then provide me with the information and do not tell me that I have to have this account for another year. If 1eurohosting has it within their power to terminate this account due to non-payment, then they have the power to permanently remove this account. I would like to have 1eurohosting completely remove this account with no costs at all to me as a gesture of good will due to my difficult situation. This would show that some feeling of care for their customers does exist here. My apologies if this reaction is somewhat disjointed but it is the best that I can manage in my condition.
