NEVER AGAIN!

At this moment I seat on the couch of this €35p.n. apartment during my vacation to write a negative review. I should be out and enjoying my vacation but this has been so far not a good experience.

During the booking process, I realised that on top of the deal value I would have to pay €30 per person per airport that I didn’t want to travel to or from. In other words, I live in the Netherlands but I had to pay €60 not travel from Germany bit ended up taking a flight from Cherloroi in Brussels. An airport far from the city center and not reachable by train. Meaning that I had to drive to the airport which costed me 2 hours and €50 for parking. The other option was to pay for two people €30 euros each not fly from the 2 airports they have in Brussels. This means that €120 would not be included towards my vacation experience, but would go to the agency. So they would not book my fly departing in a country different from the one I live in.

Fine. I arrive in the hotel they booked me in and I spend 1.30h on the phone calling the property manager, the agency and everyone else because Reizendeals did not send the access code to the apartment and they sent me to the wrong address. They even replied to my email with the wrong information again.

I sat in front of the apartment , on the street, on the floor , for one and a half hours trying to get information about the room I was suppose to be staying in and the access code because Reizendeal did not send this information apriori. Two guests from Reizendeal had the same experience as me in the next hour.

For them it was even worse because they paid extra for the transfer offered by Reizendeal from the airport to the hotel. They had to wait almost 2 hours for the transfer to pick them up.

When I finally get to the apartment, very simple and basic, definitely not a hotel, I find out that I have to pay €4 extra per towel to rent it. The towels are not in the room and I have to call the hospitality to arrange for the next day. So, first after travelling and no shower.

In the process I found out that my Ryanair flight costed €104 for two people from charleroi to Girona. And I found out that the apartment I’m staying in (Apartment Tropic, apartplaya) costs €35 per night.

End of the day, this was not a nice surprise trip.

Geboden Oplossing:

Dear Renata Machado,

We are sorry to read your holiday was not satisfying for you. The prices of extra options, including exclusion of airports, are in fact mentioned on the page of the deal before you even book the deal. Travelling to and parking at the airport, car rental and fuel etc. are never included in the holiday prices.

We understand it must have been frustrating that the check in procedure on arrival at the accommodation took so long. It was however mentioned on the hotel voucher where to pick up the key for the room.

Again we are sorry that you felt your holiday was not good enough for the price of €236.50 per person. We hope you at least enjoyed the time you spend there and had a good time in Spain.
