Klacht: Pickup point too far away when there is one closeby

Mijn Klacht:

I live at 2025XE.
My postnl pickup point is at 2031AZ, 3km away, which is open only 2 hours on Saturday.
There is a Bruna pickup point 500m away, open for a full working day on Saturday.

I asked Postnl to change my pickup point and they say the can do nothing.

Gewenste Oplossing:

Switch my pickup point to a closer one, for example Bruna which is 500m away.

Dear mistermisses Galili,

Thank you for sending this letter. I understand you're not satisfied with the pickup location. My apologies for this inconvenience. I'll be happy to answer to your letter.

The pickup location is linked to your postal code. Therefore parcels will automatically be send to this location. You can only redirect your parcels to a different pickup location if the parcel couldn't be delivered to your address after the first and second attempt.

Parcels like 3SRETA7631322 will automatically go to the pickup location because the sender chose for this way of delivery.

I know this zipcode is linked to this pickup location, but this was not a smart decision, and I believe this was a mistake by some postnl employee who linked it by error. You don't link a pickup point 3km away when you have another 500m away.
However, gladly, errors can be fixed.
This can and should be fixed by whoever did that mistake in postnl.
